Shrunk within a Shrunk

This is actually an old piece of art that I had just colored in recently. It features the two lovable lead characters of Calex the Neko's story, Shrinking Tails.

I remember the first time I read Shrinking Tails. I was never really in to micro, because I hated the feeling of characters becoming feeble and powerless...but the day I read this, it pretty much changed my view on micro.

I almost NEVER appreciate size change stories (either up or down) where the character is changed against his will, by accident, and especially when they don't turn back. Surprisingly, Calex was somewhat notorious for these, and he did them really well.

I think it's because he showed us no helplessness or torment in the characters. They were headstrong and adventurous. The perfect leads.
